2020 - Ladies Luncheon

2020 presented a unique challenge in the form of a global pandemic. With the Corona Virus very much affecting life in South Africa we did not know whether we would be able to celebrate Maxim’s 7th birthday at all.

 

Despite the overwhelming odds, on Saturday 3rd October, 30 ladies were treated to a Covid Compliant Ladies Luncheon on the banks of the river at The Bridge venue. After months of lockdown it was so exciting to share a lunch face to face in beautiful garden surrounds.

Ladies were treated to a scrumptious harvest table, delicious wines and spoilt with a manicure or shoulder massage.

 

The elegant, graceful Rhonel Van Loggerenberg , a special needs mom, life coach and motivational speaker gave a poignant presentation that elevated our afternoon to an unforgettable celebration.

 

Despite the restricted numbers and uncertainty surrounding our 2020 fundraiser , we still managed to raise an impressive R 40 000.   This will enable us to provide 7 ABM intensives to celebrate Maxim’s 7th Birthday
